North Shore Bank employees love raising money for local non-profits who are inspiring, and committed to the communities we serve. So, it was easy to choose Root when considering our next Jeans Day recipient. Their mission: To help young adults create a pathway to independence through food service training and employment. Representatives from the Bank recently visited the folks at Root in Salem to present them with a $1,200 Jeans Day contribution.

Each week, Root youth employees produce more than 500 meals for seniors, families, and children experiencing food insecurity and for clients served by Lifebridge, Salem Pantry, Beverly Bootstraps, and many more North Shore agencies.

Root is deeply grateful for this generous donation from the North Shore Bank team. We could not do the work we do without our community partners, and we really appreciate this show of support, which will go directly toward supporting our Culinary Training Program for young people across the North Shore.
