Employee Jeans Days

Helping area non-profits, one pair of jeans at a time.

Sure we’re a bank and predictably our employees are usually dressed pretty formally — pinstripes, wingtips, heels — the whole financial uniform thing. However, that doesn’t mean that we still don’t know how to kick back. Case in point, on any given Friday NSB employees can be found sporting their best denim and doing so for a good cause. That's because North Shore Bank employees manage a weekly "Jeans Day" program, and in exchange for a $5 donation, they have the freedom to wear blue jeans for that day. The proceeds are then pooled for the month and donated to an area charity — typically designated by the staff.

Since the program's inception, total Jeans Day donations have exceeded $100,000 . . . and counting!
