PEABODY, MASSACHUSETTS (www.northshore-bank.com) – North Shore Bank recently donated $20,000 to Harborlight Community Partners, an organization providing affordable housing with supportive services for low and moderate income families, seniors, and individuals living in Southern Essex County. 

The donation was made through the Community Investment Tax Credit (CITC) program, which is designed to allow local businesses to work with community development corporations (CDCs) and partner with nonprofit organizations to improve economic opportunities for low and moderate income households.

North Shore Bank President and CEO, Kevin Tierney said:

Harborlight Community Partners is a wonderful organization that is dedicated to serving the people of the North Shore.” He went on to say, “By making this CITC donation, what we hope is that we’ve helped make a difference to those in our community who are less fortunate.
