Frank Leary, Executive Director of the Middleton Food Pantry, founded the pantry in 2010 after observing a growing need for food assistance in the Middleton community. The Middleton Council on Aging and Senior Service Center generously donated space for the pantry.  Mr. Leary estimates that they have served over 350 Middleton families since its inception.

Mr. Leary stated:

“Every cent donated to the pantry goes to purchasing food and maintaining our appliances and operating equipment." He went on to say, "This donation from the North Shore Bank employees means so much to us and the Middleton community."

Maria Silva, North Shore Bank AVP and Middleton Sales and Service Manager, said:

"The food pantry here in Middleton does so much for our residents. Their commitment to the community is truly inspiring." She continued, "We're real happy to play even a small part in their mission to help needy families in town. When we were thinking of local non-profits to help with our Jeans Day dollars, they were an obvious choice.
