North Shore Bank Chief Executive Officer Kevin M. Tierney, Sr. recently met with Corey Jackson, Executive Director of Citizens Inn, to present the organization with a $10,000 contribution for their Peabody Summer Eats program. The summer-long program, which has distributed 250-300 lunches a week to children across Peabody, provided free meals to youth 18 and under during the summer months when children do not have access to school meals. The 10-week program, which officially ends on Thursday, August 26th, aims to fill the nutrition gap between academic years for low-income kids, particularly those who rely on federal child nutrition programs during the school year.
