North Shore Bank has been recognized by the Alzheimer's Association, Massachusetts and New Hampshire Chapter for being a 2019 sponsor of the Central NH Walk to end Alzheimer’s.

The mission of the Alzheimer’s Association is to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected.

Jim Wessler, CEO of the Alzheimer’s Association MA/NH Chapter said:

We are truly thankful to North Shore Bank for their generous donation to our 2019 Walk to End Alzheimer’s.” He continued, “The bank’s contribution is crucial in advancing our mission and ensuring the association will be able to provide much-needed education, care and support services to families affected by this devastating disease, as well as fund critically-needed Alzheimer’s research.
Maureen Meletis, North Shore Bank Commercial Loan Process Improvement Specialist, who has been the chairperson of the Alzheimer’s Association Central New Hampshire Walk to End Alzheimer’s said:

Alzheimer’s is a horrific disease. As an Alzheimer’s Advocate I continue to use my voice to shine a light on Alzheimer’s and to make this devastating disease a national priority by increasing research funding and one day having a World without Alzheimer’s.

The money raised by North Shore Bank will help to fund critical programs and services that directly help those living with Alzheimer's, as well as their family and caregivers. Fundraising efforts like North Shore Bank's, that take place in the community, not only help fund the work the Association does, but raises awareness for the disease and the help they offer.
