Abington Bank Promotes Egan to Officer
Abington Bank recently announced that Jennifer Egan has been promoted to assistant Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) officer.
Egan, from East Bridgewater, has nearly three decades of banking experience and joined Abington Bank in 2006 as accounting clerk. Since then, she has held several positions, including deposit operations specialist, BSA specialist, and most recently, BSA manager. She is based in the bank’s Avon office and is responsible for helping to ensure the bank’s compliance with laws and regulations pertaining to the United States’ Bank Secrecy Act, which is designed to combat money laundering and the financing of terrorism. Egan has an associate degree in business administration from Massasoit Community College.
