The name TruNorth Bank™ will officially go into effect on February 9, 2026.
Important Dates
Friday, February 6
- Bill Pay will be unavailable starting at 7:30 AM
Sunday, February 8
- Online and Mobile Banking including Mobile Deposit and Zelle® will be unavailable starting at 7:00 AM
- Deposit ATMs will be available to accept deposits
Monday, February 9
- NorthShore-Bank.com becomes TruNorthBank.com
- Bill Pay, Online and Mobile Banking including Mobile Deposit and Zelle® will be available starting at 10:00 AM
- Logging in will be easy. You will use your existing username and password. Plus, all TruNorth Bank customers will log into the same Online Banking site.
- IMPORTANT: You will need to delete your old Mobile Banking app and download the new TruNorth Bank Mobile Banking app starting on February 9. You can use your same user ID and password to login.
- Our Customer Care phone number will change to 978.573.1300
- Quicken® and QuickBooks® Online Customers: Please be aware that these services will be temporarily unavailable starting Monday, February 9 until Intuit completes the necessary updates to connect to TruNorth Bank. Click here to learn more.
TruNorth Bank Online + Mobile Banking
Online and Mobile Banking will be unavailable starting SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 8 at 7 AM.
Starting MONDAY, FEBRUARY 9 at 10 AM, here’s what you need to know:
- The Online Banking site will change for TruNorth Bank. All TruNorth Bank customers will log into the same Online Banking site.
- The existing Online Banking sites for North Shore Bank and Abington Bank Online Banking will no longer work. You will need to access Online Banking from the TruNorth Bank website.
- Log into Online Banking by visiting TruNorthBank.com and clicking on the Login button in the login box or from the main navigation menu.
- Use your existing user ID and password to access Online and Mobile Banking. You will need to enter your password at first login.
- You will need to reestablish your Biometric ID for Mobile Banking.
- Account histories, previously established automatic transfers (internal and external), Bill Pay payees, active eBills, scheduled payments, and scheduled bill payments will carry over; no need to set them up again.
- You will need to re-establish all account alerts.
- If you use an online account aggregation tool, such as Credit Karma or Boost, you will need to reestablish your connection from the tool.
It’s important that you know your user ID and password because they will not be carried over. If you do not know your password, you will be able to select “Forgot Password?” on the sign in page to reset it.
North Shore Bank and Abington Bank customers will need to delete their existing Mobile Banking app and download the NEW TruNorthBank Mobile Banking app from the App Store® or Google Play™ on FEBRUARY 9, 2026.

Bill Pay + Zelle®
Bill Pay will be unavailable starting FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 6 at 7:30 AM.
Zelle® will be unavailable starting on SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 8 at 7:00 AM.
- Scheduled Bill Pay and Zelle® payments will be processed accordingly.
- All automated alerts and Zelle® notifications will come from TruNorth Bank starting February 9.
New Website Information
NorthShore-Bank.com will become TruNorthBank.com on FEBRUARY 9.
- If you visit NorthShore-Bank.com after February 9, you’ll automatically be redirected to TruNorthBank.com. However, please bookmark TruNorthBank.com and begin accessing the site directly using that URL, as the redirect function will be temporary.
- You can expect to find everything you need TruNorthBank.com, including the same layout and navigation you’re already familiar with.
- Use your existing user ID and password to access Online and Mobile Banking.
- If you access Online Banking directly through a URL saved in your desktop or laptop browser’s favorites, you will be directed to log in at a new URL. Be sure to bookmark this new URL instead!
- It’s important that you know your username and password because they will not be carried over. If you do not know your password, you will be able to select “Forgot Password” on the sign in page to reset it.
Debit Cards
You can continue to use your North Shore Bank Debit MasterCard® or Abington Bank Debit Visa® Card after February 9. In March, we will begin mailing TruNorth Bank Debit Visa® Cards to current card holders. We will share more information about the debit card mailing as it gets closer.

Social Security Deposits + Checks
You will continue to receive your scheduled direct deposits, including social security, uninterrupted – just like you do today.
Please continue to use your same North Shore Bank and Abington Bank checks as needed until you run out. Any checks reordered after the name change will have the TruNorth Bank logo.
