Talk about quick and easy — our real-time Text Banking service gives new meaning to the term on the go. Fully integrated with Online Banking, with Text Banking you can:
- check account balances
- view history
- locate one of our branches or ATMs
- register up to five different mobile phones
To register for this FREE service*, all you need is a text-enabled cell phone and you must be an Online Banking user. Once enrolled, a text message with a short code is sent to the newly activated mobile device. Use this short code when utilizing our Mobile Banking Text Messaging service. Below is handy reference list of the different commands that can be sent and the transactions that can be performed through the platform.

To sign up for Text Banking simply log into Online Banking and select the Service Center tab on the application dashboard. Then click on the Text Banking enrollment link where you will be walked through a short registration and activation process. *Text banking does not require internet access. North Shore Bank does not charge a fee for this service but message and data rates may apply. Check with your wireless provider for details. Fees associated with opt-in services, such as Quicken, are not included in the base online banking or mobile web package.
