North Shore Bank Supports Local Food Pantries through 2nd Annual Neighbors Helping Neighbors Fundraiser
Michael R. Wheeler, president and chief executive officer of North Shore Bank, is kicking off the bank’s 2025 Neighbors Helping Neighbors fundraising drive to help support local food pantries.
This marks the second year of the bank’s annual appeal, which invites customers, employees, and community members to donate money between October 1 and October 31 to help fight food insecurity. All donations up to $2,500 per customer will be matched dollar for dollar by North Shore Bank and the total raised will be divided among participating food pantries across the North Shore and southern New Hampshire in communities the bank serves. In 2024, through contributions and matching donations, the campaign raised $16,500.
The bank encourages donations of any amount, with contributions of as little as $1 to $5. As an added incentive to give, the bank will offer those who donate the opportunity to win a $25 gift card at each of its locations.
“We believe Neighbors Helping Neighbors is a great example of how communities can come together to help others in need,” said Mr. Wheeler. “North Shore Bank is proud to lead this annual giving tradition and thankful to our valued customers and employees who selflessly choose to give.”
Those who wish to participate have until October 31 to make their donations. Checks should be made payable to “North Shore Bank Neighbors” and can be dropped off at any North Shore Bank branch or mailed to:
