North Shore Bank promotes three to VP, regional branch manager

PEABODY, MASSACHUSETTS — July 23, 2025

North Shore Bank recently announced the promotions of Vicki Cormier, Jonathan Johnson, and Erin Riley to vice president, regional branch manager.

In this newly created position, Cormier, Johnson, and Riley will provide leadership and support to regions of North Shore Bank’s retail banking network, working closely with retail branch staff in several communities to deliver exceptional customer service, drive performance, and uphold the bank’s commitment to community banking. They will also play a key role in supporting strategic initiatives focused on growth, operational excellence, and employee development.

Cormier, of Peabody, has nearly 15 years of retail banking experience, nine of it with North Shore Bank. Most recently, she was assistant vice president, branch manager at the Lowell St., West Peabody office. She also serves on the bank’s Mock Audit Committee and plays a key role in new employee training. Cormier is active in the Peabody community, a city she’s lived in for 25 years, and is a board member of the Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce. In her new role, Cormier will remain based in West Peabody and oversee the Peabody Square and West Peabody offices as well as the three offices in Beverly.

Johnson, of North Andover, also has nearly 15 years of retail banking experience and has led North Shore Bank’s So. Main St., Middleton office for the past three years, most recently as assistant vice president, branch manager. He is active in the community, currently serving as treasurer of the Peabody Service Unit of the Salvation Army and a weekly volunteer at Lazarus House Ministries in Lawrence. He is also a member of the 1728 Club of Middleton. In his new role, Johnson will oversee the Danvers, Merrimac, Middleton, Andover St., Peabody, and Newton, NH offices, while maintaining a presence in Middleton.

Riley, of Saugus, has been in banking for more than a decade, with seven of it at North Shore Bank, most recently as assistant vice president, branch manager of the bank’s Lynn Fells Parkway, Saugus office. Outside of work, Riley recently served as the volunteer coach for the fifth and sixth grade girls’ basketball team at Our Lady of Assumption school in Lynnfield. In her new role, she will oversee the bank’s Reading branch, two Saugus locations, and two Salem locations, while maintaining a presence in the Saugus community.
