North Shore Bank Presents $4,000 to Girls Inc. of Boston and Lynn
North Shore Bank is proud to announce a $4,000 donation to Girls Inc. of Boston and Lynn, supporting the organization’s mission to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. The contribution includes a $2,000 grant from the Massachusetts Bankers Association Charitable Foundation, for which North Shore Bank nominated the organization, as well as a matching $2,000 directly from the Bank.
The funds will help sustain Girls Inc. of Boston and Lynn’s critical programming, including academic enrichment, leadership development, and health and wellness education for girls across Greater Boston and Lynn.
“We are honored to support Girls Inc. of Boston and Lynn and the vital work they do in our community,” said Kevin M. Tierney, Sr., chief executive officer of North Shore Bank. “By nominating then matching the Mass Bankers Charitable Foundation’s grant, we’re doubling our impact and investing in the next generation of leaders.”
Girls Inc. of Boston and Lynn serves over 2,000 girls annually, providing safe spaces and high-quality, research-based programs that address the unique challenges young women face today.
“We are incredibly grateful to North Shore Bank and the Massachusetts Bankers Association for their generous investment in our mission,” said Natalie Martinez, chief executive officer of Girls Inc. of Boston and Lynn. “Their commitment helps ensure that more girls across Boston and Lynn have access to transformative programs that inspire them to be strong, smart, and bold.
