Drive-Up Only Services to Commence
In light of the evolving COVID-19 outbreak, and in accordance with the “social distancing” recommendations made by the Centers for Disease Control, North Shore Bank will be temporarily suspending branch lobby services at all branches beginning on Wednesday, March 18th. During this period, drive-ups facilities will remain open and staffed. Branches without drive-up capabilities will remain closed until further notice. Branch lobbies in Beverly will remain open on Wednesday but will go to a drive-up only schedule on Thursday, March 19th (where applicable). For a complete listing of branch locations with drive-up lanes and their hours of operations, click here.
Please be assured that you will also still have the ability to access banking services not readily available at a drive through window. For instance, appointments for customer service and loan originations, as safety deposit box visits can all be made by calling the Customer Support Center at 978-573-1300 Monday through Friday from 8AM – 6PM. In addition, ATMs and night depositories will continue to be available for use during this period.
Of course we’d encourage you to take advantage of our remote banking services. Online, Mobile and Voice Banking, as well as Mobile Deposit are all available 24/7 and allow you to perform a variety of banking functions, such as paying bills, making payments, depositing checks, viewing transactions, checking balances and even finding the nearest ATM.
As always North Shore Bank is committed to the health, safety and welfare of our employees, customers and the greater community. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and adjust our business continuity plans as needed. For the latest developments and branch status, please refer to our website or visit our Facebook, Twitter or Instagram profiles.
Thank you for your continued patience and patronage during these challenging times.

Monitoring and Reviewing Business Continuity Plans
North Shore Bank is closely monitoring the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. As this situation continues to evolve, our employees and customers are our paramount concern and we are taking the necessary precautions to ensure the health and safety of both groups. Given the likelihood of disruption, we have instituted a number of programs that are designed to minimize the risk associated with day-to-day operations, including:
- Increased employee education as it relates to preventative measures such as frequent hand washing and social distancing
- Ongoing monitoring of the employee population for potential outbreaks
- Enhanced cleaning and disinfection of all surfaces in public and employee areas
- Review of our business continuity plan and processes to ensure continued customer service
Employees have been instructed to remain home if they’re experiencing flu-like symptoms — for instance respiratory illnesses or fever — and we would encourage our customers to do the same. We’ve also asked staff to inform us if a close contact has tested positive for Covid -19, allowing us to enact appropriate mitigation plans.
Remote Banking Options
As always, we’d encourage you to take advantage of our online, mobile and voice banking services. These platforms are all available 24/7 and allow you to perform a variety of banking functions, such as paying bills, making payments, depositing checks, viewing transactions, checking balances and even finding an ATM.
