North Shore Bank recently signed on as a “Regional Leader” sponsor for the North Shore Chamber of Commerce’s #TogetherNorthShore campaign. This program was developed in an effort to ensure that the North Shore Chamber of Commerce is able to continue to offer informational workshops and industry meetings that are generally available to the business community. Additionally, #TogetherNorthShore also supports those regional small businesses and non-profits that have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

During the first six months of the pandemic, over 1,000 business professionals have participated in the Chamber’s Virtual Industry Sector Meetings, Educational Workshops and Legislative Meetings with Municipal and State Officials at no charge. While these sessions have given the business community the opportunity to share information, voice concerns, network amongst peers and learn about best practices, it is not an economically sustainable model. Although these meetings have been valuable, many small businesses still want to participate, but are not financially able to continue their chamber memberships.

Investing in the #TogetherNorthShore campaign, North Shore Bank is helping to support small businesses by keeping the North Shore Chamber of Commerce strong and viable through these challenging times.

Kevin M. Teirney, Sr., Chief Executive Officer of North Shore Bank stated:

We’re proud to support this initiative. The North Shore Chamber of Commerce has consistently been there for area businesses, and these last six months have been no exception.” He continued, “There is little question that they have provided an information lifeline for companies fighting to keep their doors open throughout this pandemic.

Robert G. Bradford, President of the North Shore Chamber of Commerce said:

North Shore Bank has always been there to support the Chamber and the many non-profit and charitable organizations in the region that need assistance.
