North Shore Bank’s Chief Executive Officer, Kevin M. Tierney, Sr., has named Sheryl Shinn to the senior position of Chief Information Officer.

In her new position, Shinn will be responsible for enhancing the Information Technology strategy to meet the bank’s service delivery and operational efficiency objectives. She will also develop and implement practical, customer focused solutions that streamline processes through the use of technology, and effectively execute the bank’s digital transformation strategies. 

A key component of North Shore Bank’s strategic business plan is a deliberate focus and prioritization on digital transformation in the financial services industry.” Said Tierney. “We are pleased to have Sheryl join our management team. Her many years of leadership experience in the community banking information technology arena will have a positive impact on the bank’s growth.

Before joining North Shore Bank, Shinn held the position of Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Information Officer for Farm Credit Financial Partners, Inc., a provider of technology products and services to the Farm Credit System. Prior to that, she held executive positions in the banking industry. 

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Statistics from Mount Holyoke College and is a graduate of the Stonier National School of Banking and the Springfield Leadership Institute. She also received a Leadership Certificate from The Wharton School and holds an ITIL 4 Foundation Certification.
