PEABODY, MA — ( North Shore Bank has partnered for the seventh year in a row to serve as signature event sponsor for Citizens for Adequate Housing’s (CAH) largest annual fundraiser; Raising the Roof, an auction and gala event being held at Danversport Yacht Club on October 28th and hosted by Randy Price from WCVB TV’s The Eyeopener.

As lead sponsor, North Shore Bank’s financial commitment is instrumental in supporting the planning costs for this event. “North Shore Bank understands the importance of affordable housing options in our community,” says Corey Jackson, Executive Director of Citizens for Adequate Housing. “They have a drive to support the work we do for families in our region both financially and with a hands-on approach on our Board of Directors.”

The Raising the Roof gala will include live music, a live and silent auction, and excellent food and dancing throughout the evening. The event is attended by 300 of the North Shore’s most charitable patrons including several local business leaders and politicians. North Shore Bank is joined by generous business and individual sponsors from all over Massachusetts.

NSB President and COO, Kevin Tierney, Sr., related:

“North Shore Bank is pleased to be involved in helping those who have become or are at risk of becoming homeless. We are happy to see other area companies joining us in this fight to end the cycle of homelessness whereby people of modest means can live with dignity and respect in homes they can afford”.
