North Shore Bank Plans Paper Shredding Event To Celebrate Earth Day

Peabody, MA ( - North Shore Bank has teamed up with the Town of Saugus to hold a Paper Shredding Event for Saugus residents in support of Earth Day. Residents can take advantage of this free event to proplerly dispose of sensitive documents; such as tax informaiton, bank records, pay stubs, utility bills, and medical bills to name a few.

According to Kevin Tierney, President of North Shore Bank:

"This is an opportunity to have documents shredded on-site in a safe, mobile paper shredder and it alleviates any concern of any vital information getting into the wrong hands."

The State of Massachusetts spends hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars each year buring paper and recyclables, which could have been recycled and brought in over a million dollars of revenue to local communities.

Join us on Friday, April 22nd from 3:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m.
at the Saugus DPW located at 515 Main Street in Saugus.

If you have any questios regarding this event, please e-mail Lorna Cerbone from the Town of Saugus, or call 781-231-4036.
