North Shore Bank Branches to Collect Holiday Gifts for Local Shelters

PEABODY, MA — ( Through December 16th, all North Shore Bank branches will be collecting new, unwrapped holiday gifts to benefit the families in residence at two local shelters operated by Citizens for Adequate Housing: The Inn Between and Inn Transition Shelters in Peabody.

 Kevin Tierney, North Shore Bank’s President said:

 “We’re proud of our employees and customers for taking the initiative to help those families in our community who are facing challenges in their everyday lives, especially during the holiday season.” Tierney continued, “This is what being part of a community is all about, helping our neighbors in difficult times.  What we receive in return is the satisfaction of knowing that we made a difference in someone’s life.”

The bank is encouraging everyone in the community to donate to their Holiday Gift Drive and any contribution is greatly appreciated. Below is a list of requested items.

Items can be dropped off at any North Shore Bank location listed below during normal banking hours. All donations must be dropped off by Wednesday, December 16th.

About Citizens for Adequate Housing

Founded in 1983, Citizens for Adequate Housing Inc. has been a leader in the fight to end homelessness by serving families from the North Shore and eastern Massachusetts. Families facing an emergency need of housing have found a temporary home at the Inn Between shelter. Here families are supported as they work to end their homelessness. The Inn Transition shelter provides a sober-living transitional housing program supporting families as they continue to build on their sobriety, recovery and find permanent housing.
