NSB Announces Weekend Schedule for Merrimac Savings Bank Data Conversion

PEABODY, MA – (www.northshore-bank.com) North Shore Bank will complete its merger with Merrimac Savings Bank on November 1, 2015. As part of this process, over the weekend of November 7th and 8th the bank will be integrating the Merrimac Savings Bank computer system into North Shore Bank’s. This will result in temporary branch closings and the short-term unavailability of electronic banking services, such as online banking, online bill-pay, mobile banking and voice banking. Please be advised of the following schedule:

Saturday
November 7th

The Lynn Fells Parkway, Andover St., Peabody, Highland Ave., Salem and Hannaford’s Market, West Peabody branches will all close at 1:00PM. All other branches will maintain their regular Saturday hours.

Online banking, online bill-pay, mobile banking and voice banking will be unavailable beginning at 11AM and remaining so throughout the remainder of the weekend.

Sunday
November 8th

The Lynn Fells Parkway, Andover St., Peabody, Highland Ave., Salem and Hannaford’s Market, West Peabody will be closed for the day.

Online banking, online bill-pay, mobile banking and voice banking will be unavailable.

Monday
November 9th

All branches will re- open at their normal times.

The relaunch of online banking, online bill-pay, mobile banking and voice banking will all be delayed until after 3PM.

When these electronic services become available again on Monday afternoon, we anticipate no impact to reestablishing connectivity and consumers and businesses should follow the same login protocol as before. Nevertheless we will be temporarily extending the hours of our Customer Support Center from 7AM until 7PM beginning on Monday, November 9th. Representatives can be reached at 978-573-1400.

We appreciate your ongoing patience. Rest assured that this service interruption is necessary to a successful transition and we’ll be doing everything in our power to make it as smooth and seamless as possible.
