PEABODY, MA — (www.northshore-bank.com) North Shore Bank recently made a $20,000 commitment to Beverly Bootstraps and their “Building Community. Together.” Capital Campaign. The campaign is the first ever capital campaign for the organization and has been extremely successful in raising funds for the purchase and renovation of a new building. North Shore Bank’s total commitment will be paid over a five-year period.
Beverly Bootstraps has become a critical provider of social services for those in the Beverly and Manchester-by-the-Sea communities who are in need, and they have quickly outgrown their current space. The opportunity to purchase and renovate their Thrift Shop building in downtown Beverly will benefit their clients, volunteers, staff and supporters immeasurably.
North Shore Bank President and COO, Kevin Tierney related:
“Beverly Bootstraps is an incredible organization that is dedicated to serving the people of the North Shore. By making this commitment, what we receive in return is the satisfaction of knowing that we may be helping to make it a little easier on local families in need.”
According to Heather Johnston, Director of Donor Relations at Beverly Bootstraps:
“North Shore Bank’s commitment to this campaign and project is greatly appreciated and will truly leave a lasting impact on the lives of the clients we serve. We are proud to be a member of this community along with all the individuals, businesses and foundation that support the work we do. Without them, none of this would be possible.”
Beverly Bootstraps’ new 21,000 square foot building will be located at 35 Park Street, the opposite side of their Thrift Shop which will remain at 198 Rantoul Street. Once renovated, the building will increase the capacity and impact of agency programs.
