NSB & Saugusbank Collect School Supplies

Peabody, MA (www.northshore-bank.com) — From now until Thursday, August 25th, all North Shore Bank and Saugusbank locations will be collecting new school supplies to support BridgeHouse Family Shelter’s annual supply drive. Items collected by employees and customers will ultimately be distributed to the children and teenagers residing at the Lynn-based shelter. Below is a complete list of supplies that the agency is seeking:

North Shore Bank and Saugusbank are full-service community banks, based in Peabody and Saugus, serving the personal and business banking needs of the North Shore, eastern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. Having announced in February their intention to merge, the two banks have received the necessary approvals and will do so in September of this year. Upon completion, North Shore Bank will become an eleven branch community bank with approximately $700 million in assets.

BridgeHouse Family Shelter is a Lynn-based non-profit which is operated by the Lynn Shelter Association. Providing an alternative to temporary housing arrangements, BridgeHouse seeks to bridge the gap between homelessness and independent residency. The mission of the house is to provide a continuum of strong support services for families to establish self-sufficient lifestyles, and to restore self-esteem and dignity to the head of the household and children.
