NSCAP Fuel Assistance Program – Jeans Day

North Shore Bank, Jeans Day, North Shore Community Action Programs, NSCAP

New England winters can be harsh and rising energy costs make it even harder for families to keep up with the cost of heating a home. Every year, NCAP's Fuel Assistance Program helps thousands of North Shore residents pay their winter heating bills. Through the North Shore Bank Jeans Day initiative, the bank has been able to support many great non-profit organizations. With the record breaking low temperatures in the area earlier this year, dedicating a month to NSCAP's Fuel Assistance Program made a lot of sense.

In January 2018, the bank donated $1,260 to NSCAP's program. The Fuel Assistance Program was created to help individuals and families stay warm and save money when winter cold arrives. For over 50 years, thousands of households in Salem, Peabody, Beverly, Danvers, Marblehead, Middleton and Topsfield have relied on NSCAP to help them keep their home warm in the winter.
This generous donation from the employees of North Shore Bank means so much, since it will help members of our community stay warm and safe. On behalf of all of us at NSCAP and those we serve, many, many thanks.
