Abington Bank Donates Over $9,000 to Local Food Pantries
Abington, Massachusetts, December 11, 2020 — As part of its holiday outreach efforts, Abington Bank’s charitable giving program made donations totaling $9,100 to local food pantries and food insecurity-related programs in nine communities across southeastern Massachusetts.
“We recognize the continued and meaningful difference these organizations make to the families in our communities, not only at the holidays but throughout the year,” said Abington Bank President and CEO Andrew J. Raczka. “We’re pleased to provide support to help them feed our neighboring friends and families.”
Beneficiaries of the bank’s charitable donations include the following organizations:
- Avon Baptist Church Food Pantry
- Cohasset Food Pantry
- The Family Pantry—Damien’s Place, Marion
- John’s Episcopal Church Food Pantry, Holbrook
- Vincent de Paul Society Food Pantry, Abington
- Scituate Food Pantry
- South Shore YMCA Food Pantry, Germantown
- Support the Soupman Corp., Brockton
- Aunt Dot’s Kitchen Food Pantry, Hull
