Abington Bank, a division of North Shore Bank, Donates $2,500 to Plymouth County Family Support, Inc. and Staffs Local Food Pantry
Abington Bank has announced a $2,500 donation to Plymouth County Family Support, Inc. (PCFS) to help address food insecurity in the Plymouth community. The funds will support PCFS’s efforts in partnership with Algonquin Heights, a low-income housing complex in Plymouth, to provide consistent access to nutritious food for local families in need.
In addition to the donation, Abington Bank will staff a food pantry at Algonquin Heights on the first and third Friday of each month. The pantry, operated in collaboration with the South Shore Community Action Council, will distribute canned and boxed goods to residents, offering a reliable resource for those facing food insecurity.

Plymouth County Family Support, Inc. provides programs and services that strengthen families and promote community well-being. With Algonquin Heights and South Shore Community Action Council working together, the food pantry will help address an urgent need by providing dependable access to essential food supplies.
