Abington Bank, a division of North Shore Bank, Donates $25,000 to Wellspring Multi-Service Centers’ Expanding Access Campaign
Abington Bank, a division of North Shore Bank, has announced a $25,000 contribution to Wellspring Multi-Service Centers in support of the organization’s Expanding Access Campaign—a comprehensive initiative aimed at increasing access to vital support services for individuals and families on the South Shore.
The Expanding Access Campaign is designed to enhance Wellspring’s capacity to serve the growing needs of the community through expanded program space, improved facilities, and broadened outreach. With this generous donation, the bank is helping ensure that more residents have access to critical services including food assistance, housing support, job training, and educational programs.
“We’re proud to support Wellspring’s mission of empowering individuals and strengthening families,” said Michael R. Wheeler, president and CEO of Abington Bank, a division of North Shore Bank. “Their work is essential to building a healthier, more resilient community, and we’re honored to play a part in expanding their reach.”
Founded in 1985, Wellspring Multi-Service Centers has been a cornerstone in South Shore communities, providing integrated services that meet the complex needs of people facing economic and personal challenges.
“Wellspring is grateful and humbled by the incredible support shown by Abington Bank,” said Vinny Harte, president and CEO of Wellspring Multi-Service Centers. “This gift makes our ability to provide support to our neighbors seeking independence and self-sufficiency possible. As Wellspring seeks to expand access to services, community partners like Abington Bank are vital to success.”
The bank’s support reflects its ongoing commitment to community development and strengthening local nonprofits that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
