North Shore Bank Contributes $10,000 to the Peabody International Festival Committee

Peabody, Massachusetts — May 16, 2025

The committee for the 40th annual Peabody International Festival received a $10,000 contribution from North Shore Bank for their Title Sponsorship of this year’s event. This donation from North Shore Bank will be used to help offset the costs associated with the festival, which will be held on Sunday, September 7th.

The International Festival is the largest festival of its kind. Dozens of civic organizations, nonprofits, local businesses, cultural groups, crafters and artisans line Downtown Peabody with delicious food and artwork inspired from places all around the world.

“This event celebrates the many cultures that make up the community,“ said Kevin M. Tierney, president and chief executive officer at North Shore Bank. “We applaud the Mayor, and all of those on the festival committee, for their hard work in pulling this year’s event together. We’re thrilled to once again be the title sponsor.”

“Once again, we’re profoundly grateful to North Shore Bank for their generous contribution,” said Mayor Ted Bettencourt. “Their support as our title sponsor makes the International Festival possible, bringing our community together for this cherished event.”

The International Festival began with the simple goal of giving neighbors the opportunity to meet, while celebrating and appreciating each other’s culture. The festival continues to attract thousands of people to Peabody Square each September. Popular bands and performance groups entertain the crowd, and in addition to the all-day live entertainment the festival has an area dedicated to children and their families, an Artisan Market and Art Galleria.
