North Shore Bank employees pay to wear jeans,
"Jeans Day" at North Shore Bank raised over $300 in employee donations, and a contribution from the Bank raised the total to $500. The money will be used to help stock the shelves at The Salem Pantry, the oldest food pantry in Salem. Run by local volunteers, the Pantry provides emergency groceries at the end of each month when bills are due but assistance checks have not yet arrived. "Unfortunately, many people are struggling just to put food on the table for themselves and their families," said North Shore Bank President Francis J. McCormack. "As a community within our own workplace, our employees can make a small difference in the larger community around us." North Shore Bank, established in 1888 under State charter, now has nine branches in North Shore communities including Beverly, Danvers, Liberty Tree Mall, Lynn, Middleton, Peabody, Salem and West Peabody. The Bank is a member of the FDIC and a member of the SIF. Here to serve you! |
