North Shore Bank Opens New Corporate
Headquarters and Full-Service Branch

PEABODY, MASSACHUSETTS, October, 2007 … Local dignitaries joined representatives of North Shore Bank on Tuesday, October 23rd for a ribbon-cutting ceremony signaling the opening of the Bank’s new three-story Corporate Headquarters and full-service branch office located at 248 Andover Street (Rt. 114) in Peabody.

Among those attending the afternoon ribbon-cutting ceremony were the Honorable Michael Bonfanti, Mayor of Peabody, North Shore Bank CFO George J. Sophinos and North Shore Bank Chairman Gary F. Cowles.  They joined North Shore Bank Chief Executive Officer Francis J. McCormack and President and Chief Operating Officer David J. LaFlamme in welcoming residents and businesses to the newest North Shore Bank office.

The new 15,000-square-foot North Shore Bank building houses the Bank’s Administrative and Executive Offices, as well as their Commercial and Retail Banking Divisions. The full-service branch office is located on the ground floor and a drive-up teller and ATM is also available. The building was designed by DRL Associates, Inc., Architects. The contractor is TLT Construction Corp.

According to LaFlamme, the present Peabody Square Banking Office at 32 Main Street will continue to serve as North Shore Bank’s Main Office. It will also house the Bank’s deposit and loan operations, information technology, and training functions.

Mayor Bonfanti complimented North Shore Bank on its decision to build its Corporate Headquarters in Peabody, where the Bank has been based since 1888. He also acknowledged the Bank’s strong record of service to the Peabody community, as demonstrated by the Bank’s outstanding CRA record.

North Shore Bank is a full-service community bank based in Peabody. The Bank has eight branches in North Shore communities, including Beverly, Danvers, Middleton, Peabody, Salem, and West Peabody, and maintains an online banking presence at northshore-bank.com.
