Free Checking
Tired of minimum balances and per-check fees? Then you should consider our Free Checking account. It features unlimited check writing with no monthly service fee and no minimum daily balance requirements. Plus, we’ve included 3 free "foreign" ATM transactions per statement cycle.

Gold Checking
Our Gold Checking account rewards those customers who keep $5,000 or more in combined deposits – Checking, Savings, Money Market or CD accounts, including IRAs – with higher rates on CDs (excluding special offers), free money orders, free Traveler’s Checks, unlimited free "foreign" ATM transactions, and more.

Interest Checking
At North Shore Bank, it’s easy to avoid charges on your checking account and earn interest on your bill-paying money. Simply maintain a minimum daily balance of $750 in your Interest Checking account and we will waive the monthly service fee. In addition, you will qualify for 5 free "foreign" ATM transactions each statement cycle.

Free Interest Checking for Seniors
For those customers age 65 or older, we offer our Interest Checking account with no monthly service fee. There is no minimum daily balance to maintain and no check-writing limit. Just notify us of your eligibility, and we will take care of the rest.

All Deposits Insured in Full
At North Shore Bank, every deposit is insured in full. The FDIC insures "self-directed" retirement accounts to $250,000 per owner, and each other ownership category to at least $100,000 per owner. All deposits above that amount are insured by the Share Insurance Fund (SIF). No one provides better deposit insurance.

Avoid ATM Surcharges
