The clock is ticking on your IRA contribution for 2007! There’s Still Time To Make Your 2007 IRA Contribution
This year’s income tax filing deadline is April 15, 2008. You have until then to contribute up to $4,000 to your Traditional or Roth IRA for 2007. (Individuals over age 50 by the end of the tax year may qualify to contribute an additional $1,000.) Contributions to a Traditional IRA may be deductible from your taxes. That might mean a bigger refund for you! Contributions to a Roth IRA are not deductible, but if you meet all the eligibility requirements, your distribution can be tax-free!
